tobecolor Privacy Notice
This page explains what tobecolor stores in the browser, which third-party services may be loaded, and how interactive color tools currently handle user input.
Reading Guide
Use this page to understand browser storage, third-party analytics or advertising scripts, and the controls available in your own browser environment.
Browser storage
Tool state such as favorites, bookmarks, or palette settings may be stored locally to keep the workflow persistent.
Third-party scripts
Analytics or advertising scripts may be loaded when their configuration is enabled in the current deployment.
Tool behavior
Interactive image analysis in the current implementation is handled in the browser rather than submitted through a site account system.
Information the site can process
tobecolor does not currently provide user accounts, private dashboards, or an on-site profile system.
The site can still process routine technical information such as page visits, browser context, referrer information, and interaction events when analytics services are enabled.
That information is used to operate the site, understand broad usage patterns, and maintain tool behavior across normal browsing sessions.
Local browser storage
Some tools save preferences or working state in your browser so bookmarks, palette selections, or recent settings can persist between visits.
This storage is controlled by your browser. Clearing site data or local storage can remove those saved states.
If you share a device, do not assume saved workflow state inside tobecolor is private from other users of the same browser profile.
Images and interactive inputs
In the current implementation, image color sampling and related interactive analysis are performed client-side in the browser interface.
In ordinary use, that means the site is designed to inspect colors in your browser rather than rely on an account-based upload workflow managed by the site itself.
Even so, you should avoid using sensitive or regulated material unless you are comfortable with the browser, extensions, and connected third-party services active in your own environment.
Analytics and advertising services
The site can load Google Analytics, Baidu Analytics, and Google AdSense related scripts when those integrations are configured for the deployment.
Those services may set their own cookies or collect usage data under their own terms. Their behavior is not fully controlled by this notice alone.
If those services are active in the current deployment, your interaction with them is also subject to the privacy and cookie practices of the relevant provider.
Cookies and third-party behavior
Some browser storage or third-party requests may be used to remember preferences, measure traffic, or support advertising delivery.
Blocking cookies, using privacy extensions, or turning on stricter browser settings can change how parts of the site behave.
How to limit data retention
You can restrict cookies, clear local storage, or use browser privacy controls and extensions to reduce retained data.
If you do not want workflow state to persist in tobecolor, use your browser's site-data controls after finishing a session.
